Message showed some serious signs of wear. My clutch fork was slightly bent @ about 70K miles. While you're in there you may want to change the input shaft oil seal, the input shaft bearing retainer (the aluminum nose casting) paper gasket, the pilot bushing, release bearing, and rear main oil seal just b/c these items are such a PITA to replace. Once you have the trans. out do everything around or under it so you don't have to pull it again, which is a pain. I had to pull the darn gear box twice in less than 1 month - you become pretty good at it w/these cars. I didn't read your profile but you can also pull your pre cats or down pipes and check the turbo (at least from the turbine housing perspective) condition by noting if you have any oil seepage into the precat or downpipe and whether or not the turbine wheel spins freely. Now is also a good time to check or change O2 sensors. Hey, at least the motor is still in the car, right?
